Coming This Sunday

September 12, 2010, 10am: Annual Water Service led by Judy Cadle

The Water Service began in Unitarian Universalist Churches in the mid-1980s as a celebration of coming together, starting a new church year, and honoring the sixth principle "We covenant to affirm and promote the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all." Please bring a sample of water that is important to you and yours to share and mingle with other meaningful samples. Water brings the gift of life, perhaps the water from your garden hose that helps your flowers and vegetables grow. Water giving the gifts of beauty and spirituality might be from a waterfall or Canandaigua Lake. Water is also a concern due to pollution, scarcity and privitization. Come share what water has meant to you this year.
